Sents Get Demolished by the Locos

On Wednesday, the Sentinels got destroyed by the Las Vegas Locos 41-10, and dropping to 0-4. Coach Cottrell benched Quinn Gray for the game, switching to backup Ingle Martin. Martin gave a sub-par performance, going 21/36, for 173 yds 1 TD and 1 INT. Steve Sanders caught 4 passes for 31 yds and a touchdown. No receiver went for more than 35 yards. Once again, the rush attack was atrocious. RBs Shannon Woods and LaBrandon Toefield combined for 21 carries and just 72 yds. The offense also had a combined 5 fumbles, all of which were recovered.

On the other side of the ball, the Sents defense was rather terrible as well. The pass defense allowed the Locos' JP Losman to throw for 27/37 and 277 yds and 2 TDs. S Darien Williams led the team with 7.5 total tackles. LB Rian Wallace (1.5) and DE Michale Spicer (1.5) both had sacks.

May I also add that, although the game site was moved from Citi Field to Hofstra, there were only 4,392 people at the game! We need more people at the games!

RB Chris Barclay, DT Louis Ellis, RB Joe Rubin, and G Erik Robertson were all placed on IR. RB Noah Herron and WR Daron Clark were added to the roster.
