IMPORTANT GAME SITE CHANGE!

For some reason, the November 4th game at Citi Field has been MOVED to Hofstra University. Commissioner Michael Huyghue said he simply believes Hofstras' James M. Shuart Field is a better football facility. Tickets can be fully refunded.

Photos from Week 2 game vs Redwoods !

Sents add one, Release one

The Sentinels have cut LB Alfred Fincher. They have added a well-needed WR in Cortez Hankton. Reports say that more cuts are likely to be made this week.

I would also like to apologize for not recapping the last game, I was pretty busy. But for those fans out there that haven't heard, the Sents lost 24-7 to the California Redwoods. It was a terrible offensive game, really. Go to ufl-football.com for the full box score.

The signing of Piotr Czech

Piotr Czech is a great kicker that the Sents picked up before game one. He attended Wagner College in Staten Island, NY. I personally got to see him play at Wagner and man does he have a boot. He could easily hit at least a 55 yarder. He was 2/2 from 32 and 42 in his first game for the Sentinels. Expect many successful field goals from this kid this season

Recap of Game 1: NY at Florida Tuskers

Quite frankly, the Sentinels had a pathetic debut against the Tuskers on Saturday.

The game began with a touchdown on the Sentinels' opening drive. Quinn Gray hit Craphonso Thorpe with an 11-yard TD pass, Sents led 7-0. The defense looked solid throughout the first 1 1/2 quarters, holding them scoreless until the final 4 minutes of the 2nd quarter. After a Piotr Czech 32-yard field goal, the Sents defense gave in. Former NFL starter Brooks Bollinger threw consecutive touchdowns between a Quinn Gray interception. Czech hit a 42-yard FG to end the half. Halftime score: NY: 13, FLA: 14

The Tuskers had some incredibly long drives in the 2nd half. The Sentinels offense died completely. Three unanswered touchdowns from the Tuskers, including a touchdown from former NFL star Tatum Bell, capped off a terrible start for the Sents, who did have a 10-0 lead after 1 quarter. Brooks Bollinger finished with 4 TD's. FINAL SCORE: NY: 13, FLA: 35.

KEY PLAYER STATS:
